Information Literacy (IL) Course
From what we have been observing at the library at Sokoine University, a good number of students (both undergraduates and postgraduates) would appreciate a course on Information Literacy. Specifically a training on online information search skills and referencing and citation. This is one of the courses that could be considered for inclusion when reviewing some of the programmes at our universities..

Technology is at its best, farmers can be able to share ideas , i mean "mazano" and Im quite sure agriculturural productivity will be high this year.

Introduction
Emerging technologies are offering developing countries an opportunity to overcome the digital divide. The proliferation of mobile technologies, coupled with web 2.0 and social networking technologies offer a more flexible way of creating and sharing information. There are a number of success stories whereby these technologies have improved agricultural productivity.
